Rough-In Bracket BackBox for SpkrShell SL1-S Sonos Enclosure

The Terrapin 'rough-in' bracket makes it easy to place and pre-wire for our SpkrShell SS-SL1-S Sonos in-ceiling/in-wall enclosure during construction, pre-drywall. These easy-to-install rough-in kits are designed specifically for the SL1-S enclosure, and tell the electrician where you need power, and where the drywall needs to cut the hole for your enclosure. This make your final install go smooth, just pop in the enclosure, connect power, and your done.

This hard plastic BackBox version adds the benefit providing a continuous seal for walls or ceilings with vapor barriers, provides better IC (in-contact) protection with insulations (over the included soft backcover provided with SL1-S enclosure. This is ideal and recommended for ceilings that open to attic spaces.

• Mounting Depth 7-3/4" deep (works in 2 x 8 construction)
• Minimum Joists Spacing 11-5/8"
• Metal straps span up to 24" on centers for even wide spaced joists or studs
• Pre-drilled hole for electrical wiring to pass-through (can be easily sealed)
• Cut-out ring insure the correct size whole for our SL1-S enclosure
• Cut-out ring easily slides on rail for quick adjustment
• Screws included to lock ring in place
